In line with the spontaneous and improvisational tradition of previous works, "Auf Wiedersehen, Ori" is the result of a two-step process of the lo-fi recording and post-processing of an organic piano jam. A modest love-letter to cross-cultural exchange, the track begins with a coy wink to Vira (nas nuvens), one of the author's favourite piano/electronic crossovers by immensely talented, Barreiro-based transdisciplinary artist George Silver, and then warps to a series of vague, intermittent and wildly divergent (and often dissonant) sequences of notes. Then, the jam suffers modest transmogrification through rudimentary Ableton filter techniques.
Produced and recorded on the 25th of May of 2022, at Ori - Forum künstlerische Bildmedien, in Berlin.

Materials used: smartphone audio recorder, upright piano, Ableton processing repeated left-hand index finger spasms, whole five fingers of the right hand, five or so Jäger shots, a few free craft beers and the burning enthusiasm of Céline.
The beginning of the track is an improvisational render of Vira (nas nuvens), by George Silver:
